and alaska loved her

A full but short life lived inside a box, a piece that came to life from death. This ring, filled with pieces of raw copper found in Alaska, represents the treasure of ashes filled with experience, bones, and pieces of a life. Someone who died, given back in a single cremation box, an entire life fitting into one contained shape. People we love return to the earth in many forms, re-concentrated back into new substance; when will we encounter them again? In what form will we meet them?
